Why Ship from Nyack?
Why Long Island teams order from us
Finding a reliable screen printer on Long Island can be hit or miss — inconsistent ink quality, prints that crack after a few washes, and pricing that doesn't hold from quote to invoice. Rolled Up Tees is a Hudson Valley shop with transparent pricing published online, a free mockup before every order, and a press we control in-house from screen burn to final cure.
We ship to Nassau County and Suffolk County via UPS and FedEx. Ground shipping from Nyack to Long Island typically arrives in 1–2 business days. Orders over $500 ship free. For smaller orders, you'll pay actual carrier rates — typically $15–$35.
Our standard minimum is 12 pieces, and we PMS-match every color so your logo prints the same on shirt 12 and shirt 1,200. Schools, sports leagues, corporate teams, and event organizers across Long Island order with us — one point of contact, start to finish.

Before You Order
What actually drives a Long Island screen printing quote
Screen printing prices the way it does because of setup, not shipping. If you're comparing us against a shop closer to you, these are the variables that decide the number — and they're the same whether the box travels five miles or fifty.
Setup is fixed, so quantity does the work
Burning screens, mixing ink and dialing in registration takes the same effort for 12 shirts as for 500. That fixed cost spreads across the run, which is why per-shirt pricing falls off a cliff early and then flattens. On a one-color, one-location print our published ranges run roughly $12–$18 per shirt at 12–24 pieces, $9–$14 at 25–48, and $7–$11 at 49–72.
The practical consequence for a Long Island order: the jump from 36 to 48 pieces often costs little more in total, and it drags you over the $500 free-shipping line at the same time. Our minimum on any screen printed order is 12 pieces. Full ranges are in our screen printing cost guide.
Every ink color is another pass
Each color needs its own screen and its own trip through the press, which adds roughly $1–$2 per shirt per color. A six-color chest print is not a small upgrade over a two-color one. If a quote comes back higher than you budgeted, simplifying the artwork usually saves more than cutting the order size — and a well-drawn one or two-color print often reads better on a shirt anyway. The six factors behind a quote covers the rest.
Send artwork that won't stall the job
The most common delay on an out-of-area order isn't shipping — it's waiting on usable art. Vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf) separate cleanly to screens. A 300 DPI PNG at full print size works. A logo pulled off a website or texted as a screenshot does not, and rebuilding it adds days before production even starts. Send the best file you have with your first message and we'll tell you straight away whether it prints as-is.
When screen printing is the wrong call
Under about 24 pieces, or for full-color photographic art, the setup cost stops making sense and DTF or digital printing usually lands cheaper with no quality penalty at that size. We'll say so rather than sell you screens you don't need — see how the methods compare or go straight to digital printing. For polos, hats and staff uniforms headed to Nassau or Suffolk, custom work uniforms is the better starting point.
FAQ
Long Island screen printing — common questions
Do you ship custom screen printing to Long Island?
Yes. We screen print at our shop in Nyack, NY and ship directly to Nassau County, Suffolk County, and anywhere on Long Island via UPS or FedEx. Orders over $500 ship free. You get the same quality and pricing as our local Rockland County customers.
What's the minimum screen printing order for Long Island?
Our standard minimum for screen printing is 12 pieces. Below 24 pieces a small setup fee applies, since the fixed screen costs are spread across fewer shirts. For runs under 12, DTF printing is usually more cost-effective — we'll recommend the best method when you request a quote.
Will the prints hold up after shipping and washing?
Yes. We use plastisol and water-based inks cured at 320°F so the ink bonds permanently with the fabric. Our prints are rated for 100+ washes without cracking, peeling, or fading — they outlast the budget inks that fail after the first spin cycle.
How long does screen printing plus shipping to Long Island take?
Standard production is 7–10 business days from artwork approval. Ground shipping from Nyack to Long Island typically adds 1–2 business days, so most orders arrive in about 9–12 business days door to door. Rush production (5 days) is available if you need it faster.
Can Long Island schools and sports teams order screen printed apparel?
Absolutely. We regularly screen print for schools, sports leagues, and youth organizations across Nassau and Suffolk County — team uniforms, school spirit wear, and event shirts. We'll send a free mockup before anything goes to print, with one point of contact throughout.
